QB Lorenzo Nunez (6-2 190) of Kennesaw, GA Saturday earned QB MVP honors Saturday at a Rivals combine in Atlanta. In an interview with the website after the competition, Nunez revealed he was offered Friday by USC. He's the fifth known offer by USC to junior quarterbacks.

Nunez has long held an offer from Clemson and he has the Tigers and Gamecocks among his favorites. He said the schools standing out the most to him right now are Clemson, USC, Tennessee, Ohio State and NC State and he does not have a favorite.

Nunez has visited Clemson multiple times. He's also been to Florida State, Florida, Tennessee, Ohio State and Miami. He said the Tennessee and Miami visits stood out the most to him.

He plans to visit USC in a few weeks and wants to get to Tennessee as well as Clemson and Ohio State again. He wants to make his decision after his spring practice.
