EIGHTH ANNUAL SPORTING CLAYS TOURNAMENT: Saturday at Hermitage Farm Shooting Sports, 2362 Tickle Hill Road, Camden. Registration is at 8 a.m.; morning flight at 9 a.m. and afternoon flight at noon. CAROLINA RIVER CONNECTION: Basic canoe, sea/rec and whitewater kayak instruction and rentals. Five guided trips for all levels of paddlers, including half-day, full-day and overnight trips. GUIGNARD PARK: Guided Nature Tours hosted by Dr. Rudy Mancke, 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. April 19. Participants should meet in the Guignard Park parking lot at the corner of Knox Abbott Drive and Axtell Drive. The 10 a.m. tour is designed for children, and nature gifts will be provided to each participant. TROUT UNLIMITED PISGAH CHAPTER FLY FISHING SCHOOL: 8:30 a.m.-4:45 p.m. May 3 at Harmon Field on Harmon Field Road, Tryon, N.C. Students will receive instruction from experienced anglers as well as a hands-on learning session. Cost is $125 for adults, $100 for college students, and $75 for children age 12-18.
