Springdale boil water advisory lifted late Tuesday morning

A boil water advisory was issued Monday morning for this area in West Columbia.

THE CITY OF WEST COLUMBIA

— The City of West Columbia has lifted the boil water advisory issued for customers in Springdale.

The city experienced a water line break Monday morning, which prompted the advisory.

The advisory affected customers on Bensmin Drive, Dalewood Drive, Kirkwood Drive, Morningdale Drive, Sandalwood Drive, Shampy Street, the 2800 block through 2825 block of Franklin Street and the 2600 through 2900 block of Rainbow Drive.

Customers in the affected area no longer need to boil water one full minute before drinking or cooking.
