Lexington police recognized for anti-DUI effort

— Lexington police are among four law enforcement agencies recently recognized by the S.C. Department of Public Safety for their efforts to reduce drunk driving.

The 48-office town force was cited for excellence for vigilance against drunken drivers on the road, aiding victims and discouraging underage consumption of alcoholic beverages.
