— Richland County Sheriff’s deputies are asking for the community’s help identifying a suspect wanted for burglary.

The suspect is accused of breaking the front glass door of A One Express at 163 Rabon Road just before 2 a.m. March 30, Sheriff Leon Lott said.

Surveillance equipment captured the suspect throwing a large rock through the glass door then filling a trash can with $1,600 worth of Newport cigarettes.

“A silver SUV, possibly a Jeep Grand Cherokee, may be connected to the crime,” Sheriff Lott said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
