Thomas remains on top in Mexico

Leon, Mexico (SportsNetwork.com) - Justin Thomas carded a 2-under 70 on Friday to remain on top of the leaderboard of the El Bosque Mexico Championship.

Thomas, who held a share of the first-round lead, finished 36 holes at El Bosque Golf Club at 8-under-par 136.

Nathan Green (70) and Sam Saunders (68) shared second place at 7-under, while Nick Flanagan (69) and Daniel Berger (67) were tied for fourth at minus-6.

Nathan Tyler (68), Peter Tomasulo (69), Bill Lunde (68) and Jonathan Randolph (70) shared sixth place at 5-under 139.

First-round co-leader Brad Schneider tripped to a 2-over 74 during his second round to fall into a tie with Aaron Goldberg (71) for 10th at 4-under 140.
