At Siesta Key, Fla., two USC pairs won opening matches then fell in the quarterfinals of the Fiesta on Siesta Key tournament . In the Gold bracket, Mikaela Christiaansen-Sarah Blomgren beat a Florida State team; then fell in the quarterfinals to North Florida’s Dagnija Medina-Kim Hildreth, 21-11, 18-21, 15-8. In the Silver bracket, Paige Wheeler-Megan Kent beat a Florida Atlantic team, then lost in the quarters to the College of Charleston’s Melissa Morello-Cara Howley, 21-13, 21-14.
Hight sets Funny Car mark
