Columbia ministers will speak the ‘7 Last Words’ of Jesus

— In celebration of Easter, area ministers will recite the seven last words of Jesus during an extended Good Friday service.

While hanging on the cross, Jesus spoke seven powerful statements that revealed his divinity and love for humanity, according to the Christian faith.

The service will begin at 10:30 a.m. and conclude around 3 p.m. at Saint John Baptist Church, 3404 W. Beltline Blvd. in Columbia.

The “7 Last Words” will be spoken by: the Rev. Dr. Anthony McCullum, of Bethlehem Baptist Church; the Rev. Dr. Johnny Ray Noble, of Second Nazareth Baptist Church and Ridgewood Missionary Baptist Church; the Rev. Algerron Williams, of New Dimensions Baptist Church and Zion Chapel Baptist Church-Reeder Point; the Rev. Kevin Donaldson; and the Rev. Dr. Carl Wells, of Second Calvary Baptist Church.
