LAURENS COUNTY — Two Gray Court residents have been charged with forgery after counterfeit bills were used around Laurens County.
The use of counterfeit $20 and $50 bills at various businesses launched the investigation that led to the arrest of Anthony Perry Wilson, 28, and Anna Elisha Rollins, 32, both of Greenpond Road. Both have been charged with three counts of forgery and other charges are pending.
While executing a search warrant, investigators seized a computer, printer, stamp for serial number and about $400 in counterfeit cash, according to a press release from the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office.
Both were transported to the Johnson Detention Center, where they awaited a bond hearing.
