MEET THE CIDER MAKER: 6:30-9 p.m. Wednesday at Flying Saucer Columbia, 931 Senate St. Tasting and food pairings with brew master and cider maker John Matson of Woodchuck Hard Cider. $25, U.F.O. WALK@LUNCH DAY: 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday at the State House, Main and Gervais streets. National Walk@Lunch Day encourages community members to use their lunch break as a time to increase healthy behavior; there will be opportunities to walk designated paths and visit with various health and wellness vendors.
