RCSD: Man stabbed by woman he picked up on Beltline Boulevard Friday morning

RICHLAND COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPT.

— Richland County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a woman accused of stabbing a man after he picked her up on Beltline Boulevard Friday morning.

Deputies responded to the aggravated assault, which occured in the 400 block of Percival Road around 1:30 a.m. Friday morning.

“The victim said he picked up a woman on Beltline Boulevard,” Sgt. Curtis Wilson, Sheriff’s Department spokesman, said. “He said after they returned to his home on Percival Road, she stabbed him.”

Sgt. Wilson said the man, who was stabbed in the upper body, indicated that the woman was a prostitute.

“He didn’t specify what the stabbing was over,” Sgt. Wilson said.

Police are looking for the woman who fled on foot.
