Suspect arrested in death of woman in apparent domestic dispute in Eastover

— A man is facing murder charges in the death of a woman in Eastover early Saturday morning in an apparent domestic dispute.

Timotheus Elijah Hemingway was arrested in Lake City just before noon Saturday, Sgt. Curtis Wilson said. After his arrest, he was taken into custody of the Richland County Sheriff's Department.

Hemingway was charged in the death of a woman who appeared to suffer blunt force trauma multiple times to her upper body, Wilson said. The incident occurred around 4 a.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of McCords Ferry Road near Eastover.

The victim's identity had not been released late Saturday afternoon.
