Clemson has asked DB Antonio Parks of Reserve, LA to be patient before making his commitment to the Tigers. Parks had considered committing to Clemson earlier this month but said the Tigers coaching staff wants him to visit first.
"They've had a couple guys commit and then decommit lately and they want me to be sure," Parks said. "They think I should come up for a visit and see it before I make a commitment."
Parks had planned to visit earlier this month following a 7-on-7 tournament in Atlanta but did not make the trip. He has scheduled that visit for June 5th.
"I'm definitely going to get up there this summer and I will take one of my official visits to Clemson," he said. "They are definitely my favorite."
He cited the relationship with the coaching staff as the main reason he favors the Tigers. Parks named Clemson, Arizona and Arizona State as the three schools showing the most interest and will visit all three this summer.
His visit to Arizona will come in mid-June where he will see both schools. Parks did not say when he will announce his commitment and does plan to take all five of his official visits. Clemson, Arizona and Arizona State are definite destinations with the other two still undecided.
