MUSIC AT SANDHILL PRESENTED BY GROW FINANCIAL CREDIT UNION: Beach music/party band Men of Distinction, 7-9 p.m. Friday on Town Center Common, Village at Sandhill, Two Notch and Clemson roads. Children’s activities – balloon artist Nick Propst, free rides and games will begin at 6 p.m.

CONGAREE NEW HORIZONS BAND: Chamber music, 6 p.m. Tuesday in the USC School of Music Recital Hall, 813 Assembly St. Part two of the program at 7:30 p.m. will feature the group’s first jazz night.
