SC Book Festival weekend

May 16, 2014

For the seventh year, the festival and the South Carolina Center for Children's Books and Literacy of the University of South Carolina School of Library and Information Science sponsored a Children's Field Trip Day Friday. Here, author Karen Petit talks with second graders from Harbison West and Rhame Elementary schools. Petit has a series of mysteries featuring her pets who solve the crimes. She had her poodle, Lady Louise, with her. Louise has a blog called Lady Louise Speaks.
