Tigers hosting two major targets Saturday

May 17, 2014

Clemson will have two top targets on campus Saturday for unofficial visits.

Scheduled to visit Clemson are DL DJ Jones, the former Wren standout who now attends East Mississippi JC and DB Juwuan Briscoe of Waldorf, MD.

Jones visited USC on Monday with his mother and he plans to have her with him Saturday at Clemson. And Sunday he plans to visit Auburn. He has also been to Tennessee since coming home from the junior college.

Briscoe is very strong on Clemson and has indicated he could commit Saturday while on his visit. He also has offers from Maryland, NC State, Rutgers, Toledo, West Virginia, Charlotte and Old Dominion. He visited North Carolina Friday on his way to Clemson.

Briscoe played mostly at running back last season and rushed for 1023 yards and 14 touchdowns. He did have two interceptions on defense.
