Superintendent of Education - Who has the most money?

According to April filings with the S.C. Ethics Commission, Republican Molly Spearman has raised the most money of all the candidates with reports available for the election cycle. Spearman raised $90,521, all from campaign contributions with no loans. Of Spearman’s donations:

$24,640 came from educators $18,607 came from retirees, a large portion of whom are retired educators, Spearman said $925 came from principals $500 came from a superintendent $300 came from a professor $100 came from a student

Republican Sally Atwater had raised $86,041, including loans Republican Sheri Few had raised $49,837, including loans Democrat Montrio Belton had raised $40,632, including loans Republican Amy Cofield had raised $28,101 with no loans Democrat Jerry Govan had raised $19,680, including loans Republican Meka Childs had raised $18,541 with no loans Republican Elizabeth Moffly had raised $11,727, including loans Republican Gary Burgess had raised $7,675, including loans Republican Don Jordan had raised $4,470 with no loans Democrat Tom Thompson had raised $3,680, all from his personal funds Democrat Sheila Gallagher had no reports available
