TAPP’S ART CENTER: First Thursday on Main, 6-10 p.m. June 5 at 1644 Main St. “Cola: Inked” tattoo art show will showcase Columbia residents, their unique tattoos and the stories behind them. The exhibition, through June 28, also will feature original works by artists influenced by or part of the tattoo community. The Savvy Musician in ACTION Chamber Music Spotlight will present five innovative ensembles; beginning at 7:15 p.m. and alternating between the Skyline Room and the Fountain Room bar. Cast members from Trustus’ upcoming “Evil Dead The Musical” will provide a sneak preview of the production beginning at 6:45 p.m. Email info@tappsarcenter.com for details.

MEET THE CHIEF: 6 p.m. June 5 at Edisto Discovery Park, 1914 Wiley St. City Councilman Moe Baddourah will serve as host for a meet-and-greet with Columbia’s new police chief, Skip Holbrook. Light refreshments will be served.
