John Wesley Satterfield will perform at Rhythm & Blooms at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden from 6-9 p.m. Thursday in the botanical garden at 500 Wildlife Parkway. Bring your blanket to spread out in the amphitheater. Cash bar and food will be available for purchase. Admission is free for zoo members or $5 for non-members. Celebrate 20 years of concerts with free music

East Coast Entertainment has been booking concerts from its Columbia office for 20 years. To celebrate, the entertainment agency is staging a free outdoor concert at Jillian’s at 800 Gervais St. The Friday event runs from 6-11 p.m. and features the Finesse Band, Men of Distinction and Right to Party. The Let's Move! effort in Columbia celebrates the end of the school year with a bash 2-5 p.m. at the Drew Wellness Center, 2101 Walker Solomon Way. Activities range from a scavenger hunt to line dance to face painting. There’ll be a cookout and music, plus kids will be able to meet former University of South Carolina and NFL players. It’s free.
