June 2, 2014

PG Ty Hudson of Mableton, GA continues to rank Clemson at this top of his list as summer approaches. Hudson said he talked with Tiger recruiter Earl Grant Saturday.

“He was just checking in,” Hudson said. “Clemson is still make a strong push. If I had to say, they would be my number one.”

Hudson visited Clemson last month. He will visit Xavier Thursday. He also plans to visit Cincinnati while in the city.

Hudson has picked up recent offers from Xavier, Radford and Tennessee. He also has offers from Clemson, Houston, UAB, Western Kentucky, Kansas State, Mercer, Kennesaw State and Virginia Tech.

Though Clemson is the favorite, Hudson said he remains open and will have a decision in September.

On Monday, the Tigers hosted 6-5 Rayjon Tucker of Charlotte. He has offers from Boston College, Charlotte, Presbyterian, Campbell, Radford, Wofford, Western Kentucky and Rice.
