With the primaries quickly approaching, many of us already have decided who we are going to vote for; many others have not. In one contested race you have Lindsey Graham going up against several candidates who have different opinions and ideas that distinguish, except for one stark opinion: They are against big government and believe the federal government is out of control and needs to be reined in.

Lindsey Graham, on the other hand, shows all of us he is for big government with his support of the ever-encroaching National Defense Authorization Act signed in 2013 that allows indefinite detentions, repeated calls for military action in Syria and other parts of the world, and the 2008 farm bill that lifted the statute of limitations on debts to the federal government that are more than 10 years old.

He has been in Congress way too long; we need new representation. I urge all of you to read what each candidate stands for and vote for the best person who will support the values of all South Carolinians and not just the big business interest groups that support Lindsey Graham.
