Budget Battle Obama

.

J. SCOTT APPLEWHITE — AP

I have been politically active since the rise of the tea party, and I have had my disagreements with Sen. Lindsey Graham on some votes. Of course, I have had disagreements with everyone from time to time.

But because of my ties to the tea party, many have asked me why I am supporting Sen. Graham and why I agreed to become a county captain for his campaign. The answer is simple: I believe Sen. Graham is the best man for the job and deserves my vote.

Sen. Graham represents my views: I believe in a limited government, but also an effective government. Sen. Graham fights to get things done, whether they are popular or not. All problems will be addressed one way or another over time. It is better to have someone on our side working to address those problems than it is to ignore them. Ignoring them gave us Obamacare. We can’t afford someone other than Lindsey Graham as our U.S. senator.
