The Republican candidates for the U.S. Senate seat now held by two-term incumbent Lindsey Graham debated on S.C. ETV June 7, 2014. . The debate was the final of five primary debates sponsored by ETV and a group of S.C. newspapers – The State, The Greenville News, The Beaufort Gazette, The Island Packet of Hilton Head, The Sun News of Myrtle Beach, The Herald of Rock Hill and The Item of Sumter.

Who? Appearing will be Graham, Columbia minister Det Bowers, state Sen. Lee Bright of Spartanburg, Easley businessman Richard Cash, Orangeburg attorney Bill Connor, Columbia attorney Benjamin Dunn and Charleston businesswoman Nancy Mace.

What’s next? The Democratic and Republican primaries will be held Tuesday. Runoffs, if necessary, will be held June 24. Any registered voter may vote in either primary; South Carolina does not require voters to register by party. But you only can vote in runoffs of the party that you cast a ballot in the primary of. If you vote in the Democratic primary, for instance, you can not vote in GOP runoff.
