COLUMBIA MUSEUM OF ART: “Passport to Art: Stripes, Spots and Scales,” noon-3 p.m. Sunday at 1515 Main St. Be inspired by the exhibition, “Animal Instinct: Paintings by Shelley Reed,” and create a patterned animal portrait in this drop-in studio program for families. PINK ON THE GREEN CELEBRITY GOLF TOURNAMENT: Monday at Woodlands Golf and Country Club, 100 Norse Way. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., 10 a.m. shotgun start. Four-player captain’s choice format. The event will feature a $1 million shoot-out, $100,000 putting contest, $10,000 chipping contest, prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin and hole-in-one. $250 per person (registration includes three-day/two-night travel packages and two round-trip airline tickets). Sponsored by the Pink and Green Foundation, proceeds will benefit the PEARLS (Pearls Elevating Attitudes to Radiate Leadership Success) program to serve fourth- and fifth-grade girls at Hyatt Park Elementary School. A thank you and a salute

CELEBRATE FREEDOM FOUNDATION FESTIVAL AND CONCERT : 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, 1101 Lincoln St. Morihiko Nakahara and the S.C. Philharmonic will salute the U.S. Army Special Forces with performances of “Ballad of the Green Berets” and other patriotic favorites – “The Star-Spangled Banner,” “Stars and Stripes Forever” and “Hymn to the Fallen,” (from the movie “Saving Private Ryan”).
