Richland County

Government

Columbia: Tuesday at 2 p.m., City Council continues to work on next fiscal year’s budget and hears an update on the status of work on the Bull Street neighborhood. At 6 p.m., council holds a public hearing on the 2014-2014 budget. Both meetings are at City Hall, 1737 Main St.

Forest Acres City Council: 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, 6/10 Forest Acres City Hall, 5209 N. Trenholm Road.

Richland County Council: Transportation committee meets at 4 p.m. Wednesday. 6/11 Thursday 6/12 meetings are the dirt road committee at 5 p.m., followed by a special budget meeting of the full council at 6 p.m. All at the Richland County Administration Building, 2020 Hampton St., Columbia.

Schools

Richland 1: School Board meets. 7 p.m. 1616 Richland St.

Richland 2: School Board meets. 7 p.m. Longleaf Elementary School, 1160 Longreen Parkway

Lexington County

Government

Swansea Town Council: 6:30 p.m. Monday at Town Hall, 320 W. 3rd St.

Batesburg-Leesville Town Council: 7 p.m. Monday at town public safety complex, 660 W. Columbia Ave.: Initial approval of spending plan for year starting July 1

Gilbert Town Council: 7 p.m. Monday at Town Hall, 345 Hampton St.

Pine Ridge Town Council: 6:30 p.m. Tuesdayat Town Hall, 2757 Fish Hatchery Road

Pelion Town Council: 6 p.m. Thursdayat Town Hall, 1010 Main St.

Lexington 4 School Board: 6:30 p.m. Mondayat district headquarters, 607 E. 5th St., Swansea

Lexington-Richland 5 School Board: 7 p.m. Monday at Center for Advanced Technical Studies, 916 Mount Vernon Church Road, Chapin: Initial approval of spending plan for year starting July 1

Lexington 3 School Board: 7:30 p.m. Tuesdayat district headquarters, 338 W. Columbia Ave., Batesburg-Leesville
