Former WACH anchor lands at Detroit station

Mike Woolfolk, who was an anchor on WACH for several years, has landed at a news station in Detroit.

Woolfolk was tweeting from his new gig at the ABC affiliate, WXYZ, on Sunday.

“Standing outside UofM Tennis Center in Ann Arbor on a GORGEOUS Sunday afternoon,” he tweeted.

Woolfolk left WACH in 2010, and started up a media relations business called the Woolfolk Group. He is a Detroit native.

Two days ago, he tweeted, “Like the Terminator... "I'm back!" Grateful for opportunity to work in TV news again and I my hometown! @wxyzdetroit
