Suspect in June 6 theft of plants at Richland County home.

RICHLAND COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

— A man and woman are suspected of stealing plants last week from the Meadowlakes subdivision in Richland County.

Deputies are looking for help identifying the two, who are accused of stealing the plants just after 3 a.m. Friday in the neighborhood off Highway 21.

According to a release from the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, the suspects were captured on video surveillance equipment at the residence stealing the plants from the front porch.

The first suspect is described as a black male, short hair cut, wearing a light colored reflective shirt, dark pants, and dark tennis shoes. The female suspect is described as a black female, wearing a dark top, and dark colored shorts.

Sheriff Leon Lott is asking for assistance in identifying and locating the suspect. To receive up to $1000 for information leading to the arrest of the persons responsible, please call, email or text your anonymous tip to 888-CRIME.SC.
