Parks continues to favor Clemson

June 10, 2014

DB Antonio Parks of Reserve, LA is getting close on a decision but he wants to make a few more visits before he finalizes things. All signs point toward Clemson but Parks wants to make sure before his announcement. He has said in the past that he does not want to decommit in the future meaning his first commitment will be his last commitment.

"Clemson has a great class coming in and I want to be a part of that," Parks said. "They still lead but I have Arizona at a close second. I'm visiting Clemson in two weeks and I'll get a chance to sit down with the coaches."

Park had hoped to attend a camp at Clemson next week but a 7-on-7 trip to Orlando has caused a scheduling conflict. Other schools he would like to visit this summer are Arizona, Tennessee and East Carolina.

"I want to commit before the season starts, hopefully in early-July," he said. "I'm ready to get it over with."

He did not give an exact date for that announcement.
