Two people taken to Columbia hospital following drive-by shooting

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is looking for suspects in a drive-by shooting that left two people injured on Swan Lane Tuesday night.

Shortly before 11 p.m. , authorities responded to a shots fired call at 1105 Swan Lane in northeast Richland County. Two of four people in the house had been shot and were taken to the Palmetto Health Richland hospital. Their conditions were unknown late Tuesday night.

Witnesses told investigators that a vehicle drove by the house and “fired multiple rounds into the home,” Richland County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Curtis Wilson said. One victim was hit in the upper body, the other in the lower body, Wilson said.
