Singer Darius Rucker got turned away from an after party Monday in Nashville that he was hosting following a charity event, reports the website www.tasteofcountry.com

Rucker, who lives part-time in Nashville when he isn’t in his native Charleston, retweeted a report that he was not allowed into the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville because, well, he didn’t have ID. He was trying to get into the “Darius and Friends” after party at the popular venue following a fundraiser for St. Jude Hospital.

Rucker took it all in stride. Instead of pitching a fit, tasteofcountry.com reported, he left and went to another bar.
