— Columbia police are looking for a suspect accused of armed robbery, kidnapping and assault.

Investigators say the victim responded to an online advertisement to purchase a cell phone last month.

The victim agreed to meet with someone allegedly selling a cell phone on May 17, according to the Columbia Police Department.

The victim told police that he saw three men waiting for him inside a vehicle when he arrived at the McDonald’s at 5480 Forest Drive.

As the victim entered the vehicle, he says at least one suspect pointed a gun at him, according to the Columbia Police Department.

The victim told police they drove to a Regions Bank ATM at 5490 Forest Drive where one of the suspects allegedly tried to force him to give out his pin number and withdraw money.

At first, the victim refused and was assaulted, according to the Columbia Police Department.

Police say the victim gave the suspects his pin number, and they withdrew money from the account.

The suspects then drove to Forest Acres and dropped the victim off and left, according to the Columbia Police Department.

Columbia police say the suspects are facing charges including armed robbery, kidnapping, assault and financial transaction fraud.
