FALL PREVENTION 101: 10-11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Seven Oaks Park, 200 Leisure Lane. Kelly Ward, aka “The Fall Prevention Lady,” will demonstrate mobility techniques and exercises (most can be done at home and even while seated). Workshop is free; each participant will receive a video and booklet. Seating is limited, call (803) 772-3336 to reserve a spot.

TOMMY EMMANUEL: 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Newberry Opera House, 1201 McKibben St., Newberry. This amazing finger-style guitarist was once named the best guitarist in the world by Guitar Magazine. USC SUMMER CHORUS: Performance of Mozart’s “Requiem,” 7:30 p.m. Friday in the School of Music Recital Hall, 813 Assembly St. Free.

“THE LADIES OF LADY STREET LATE NIGHT CABARET”: 11 p.m. Friday at Trustus Theatre, 520 Lady St. Quartet of the best in female impersonators on the Thigpen Main Stage – Vista Queen Emeritus Patti O’ Furniture, Dorae Sanders, Chanel Stevens and Blair Williams. Show features a mix of female impersonation, celebrity illusions, showgirl costumes, comedy, glamour and singing. Doors and bar open at 10 p.m. Tickets are $15; available at trustus.org or at the door.
