Gov. Nikki Haley went on the Golf Channel on Tuesday to announce that Myrtle Beach will be the site for the network’s latest version of “The Big Break.”

The reality show features golfers vying for a chance to play in pro tournaments. Camden resident Tommy Gainey won the show in 2007 and plays on the PGA Tour.

Haley touted the state’s golf tourism business and professional tournament during her segment with Golf Channel anchor Kelly Tilghman, a North Myrtle Beach native.
