Back from a right lat strain, Gee makes his first start since May 10 on Wednesday when he opposes Atlanta's Ervin Santana at Citi Field.

Gee went 3-1 with a 2.73 ERA in eight starts before landing on the DL.

Germen has no record and a 4.78 ERA in 21 relief appearances for the Mets this season.
