Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Dodgers activated outfielder Carl Crawford from the disabled list prior to Thursday's game against San Diego.

Crawford, who last played on May 27 against Cincinnati before landing on the DL with a sprained left ankle, is hitting .267 with four home runs, 18 RBI and 21 runs scored in 44 appearances for the club this season.

He is not in the starting lineup, however, as Los Angeles opens a four-game series with the Padres in Chavez Ravine.

In a corresponding move, the Dodgers designated first baseman Clint Robinson for assignment. The 29-year-old appeared in nine games for Los Angeles and went 3-for-9 with two RBI and three runs scored in 10 plate appearances.
