San Francisco, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated outfielder Mark Trumbo from the 15-day disabled list prior to Friday's game against the San Francisco Giants.

Trumbo was placed on the disabled list with a stress fracture in his left foot on April 24. On the season, Trumbo is batting .210 with seven homers and 19 RBI.

Arizona acquired Trumbo in December from the Angels as part of a three-team deal with the Chicago White Sox. He spent his first four big league seasons with the Angels and posted career highs of 34 homers and 100 RBI in 2013.

To make room on the roster for Trumbo, the Diamondbacks optioned outfielder Roger Kieschnick to Triple-A Reno. Kieschnick hit .207 with a homer and two RBI in 19 games for the D-backs.
