Hard throwing righty joins Clemson's class

RHP Ryley Gilliam (5-11 170) of Kennesaw Mountain, GA announced a commitment to Clemson Saturday night.

According to PerfectGame, Gilliam had a fastball clocked at 93 MPH on June 27th of this year. He hit 92 MPH during his high school season.

Some other schools listed as recruiting Gilliam are USC, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Miami, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi State, Georgia Tech and Auburn.

At one point Gilliam reportedly was committed to Kent State.

Last season he had an ERA under 1.00 and he had 101 strikeouts in 15 games. He allowed just 8 earned runs and 40 hits.

He also threw a no-hitter last season.
