North Myrtle Beach police had asked for help to find a Kentucky couple, who were last seen when they were on their way to the city, but the couple were found Tuesday, said Pat Dowling, city spokesman.

The couple, Raymond Miller, 84, and his wife Lucille Logan, whose age was not released, left their home in Carlton, Ky., several days ago and were expected to arrive in North Myrtle Beach two days ago, Dowling said.

It was unclear where or how the couple were found, but officials said a few hours after issue an alert that the couple had been found.
