Hillary Rodham Clinton toured the birthplace of Mother's Day in rural West Virginia, offering Democrats a subtle reminder Sunday that her fading candidacy remains strong among women and blue-collar, white voters.
WASHINGTON — Barack Obama erased Hillary Rodham Clinton’s once-imposing lead among superdelegates Saturday when he added more endorsements from the group of Democrats who will decide the party’s nomination for president.
Freshly landscaped grass surrounded the three-story plain, white apartment complex. Children bundled in coats screamed with excitement as they encircled the playground sitting on grainy sand.
