RB Shon Carson (5-9 195) of Lake City got his season off to a hot start Friday night rushing for 175 yards on 12 carries and scoring 5 touchdowns in just one half as the Panthers blew out Lee Central. His longest run was 54 yards.
Carson said Sunday night he has a top five of USC, Florida State, Alabama, North Carolina and Georgia and those likely will be his official visits. He will take those visits during the season. And he will go to the Georgia at USC and Alabama at USC games, as well as games at other locations.
He doesn't have a favorite and plans to study his top five teams closely during the season.
Baseball also will play a major factor in his decision and Carson said. USC is recruiting him the hardest for baseball. His decision won't come until after the season.

South Carolina is in a little bit of trouble right now, so I don’t know right now. I’m still thinking about where I’m going to go to. I haven’t decided yet.
