Two women were arrested Monday after Columbia police seized nine video poker machines and more than $3,000 cash from house on Dart Street, a police news release said.

Suprise M. Pickney, 54, and Miriam C. Canada, 52, are each charged with keeping a gaming house, police spokesman Brick Lewis said.

Both worked as managers of the house, Lewis said.

The investigation is ongoing, Lewis said.
