OMG! Miley Cyrus is coming to Columbia.

Cyrus, the star of the Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana,” will perform at the Colonial Life Arena Nov. 28.

The 45-date tour, which also features Metro Station, kicks off Sept. 14 in Portland.

Tickets, which cost $42.25 to $82.25, go on sale June 13.

Parents might be find themselves in a bind -- it's the same day as the Gamecock-Clemson football game at Williams-Brice Stadium. The time of the game hasn't been set yet, but it's bound to conflict with Cyrus' concert.

It also might mean more complications at the entry gate. The tour also features a new ticketing system to thwart scalping. “Ticketholders” will need to have their purchasing credit card and I.D. to enter to arena, and all members of the purchaser’s party will need to be present upon entry.

Tom Paquette, the general manager of the Colonial Life Arena, said the paperless system cuts out scalping and price gouging. During Cyrus' tour as Hannah Montana last year, tickets were snapped up quickly, then put up for sale by scalpers for up to $1,000 each.

“(Cyrus) is concerned that her fans are paying the price that set,” he said. “This is an advanced way of making sure fans get tickets.”
