Customer-care center to open in Anderson

Cross Country Home Services will open a $3 million customer-care center in Anderson that is expected to employ up to 350, the S.C. Department of Commerce and the Anderson County Office of Economic Development announced today.

Headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Cross Country Home Services sells home warranties and service plans.

The company chose Anderson after a two-year search because of "a pool of high-quality prospective employees" and "an existing facility that meets our needs" Cross Country President Sandra Finn said in a statement.
