CMARK changes trading ticker symbol

CMARK International Inc. of Columbia, which builds food facilities for the federal government, is now trading under a new ticker symbol -- CMIT.

"Through various communications from potential shareholders and the investment community, we have become increasingly aware of the need for CMARK to request this change in order to alleviate any confusion or association between our company and the history of our previous trading symbol," CMARK President Charles Jones Jr. said in a statement issued today.

Las Vegas mining company Casavant Mining Kimberlite International Inc. last used the symbol until 2003, according to a database check. Entertainment software designer Cyber Mark International Corp. had the symbol before that.

The symbol change will "allow us to move forward in building our clear identity in the investment community," Jones added.
