The Lexington Richland Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council is building a new facility on Colonial Drive near Palmetto Richland Hospital.

The 60,079-square-foot building will house 80 employees and consolidate its Richland County facilities at Middleburg Plaza, Harden Street and Devine Street into one administrative and service center.

The agency will still operate it’s Lexington County treatment and intervention center on North Hospital Drive and a women’s community residence in West Columbia.
