A Gaston man faces charges after authorities say they found remnants of a methamphetamine laboratory in his home.

Officers with the Lexington County Multi-Agency Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested Timothy Dale Sightler, Jr., 19, Thursday, after Lexington County Sheriff's Department deputies observed suspicious activity and odor around the home, later finding evidence of a drug lab, according to reports.

Sightler was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and unlawfully disposing of waste from a clandestine methamphetamine laboratory. He was being held at the Lexington County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
