25-year-old Richland man fatally shot

A 25-year-old man was fatally shot this afternoon at an apartment complex on Springwoods Lake Drive, Richland County sheriff’s deputies said. The man was shot multiple times in the upper body about 3:15 p.m. and pronounced dead shortly after at Palmetto Health Richland, sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Chris Cowan said. Richland County Coroner Gary Watts could not immediately be reached for comment. No arrests have been made. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at (888) CRIME-SC.
