Richland 1 superintendent Percy Mack plans to meet tonight with North Columbia residents concerned about their struggling schools.

Three schools — Eau Claire High, Alcorn Middle and Gibbes Middle — have been designated by the state as failing to meet minimum academic standards.

The meeting is at 6:30 p.m. at the Eau Claire Print Building, 3907 Ensor Ave.
