Go Columbia: On the horizon, March 1

S.C. CORNBREAD FESTIVAL KICKOFF: 11 a.m. Saturday at C.A. Johnson High School, 2219 Barhamville Road. Live music, refreshments, speakers; followed by the Miss S.C. Cornbread Festival pageant at 5 p.m. The kickoff is free; tickets to the pageant, $5 at the door. Sponsored by the North Columbia Business Association, the festival is planned for March 29 in the 2800 block of North Main Street.
