BETTER CHOICES, BETTER HEALTH WORKSHOPS: 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesdays, April 2-May 7, at Greenview Park, 6700 David St. Designed by Stanford University for people living with ongoing health conditions such as arthritis, depression, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, lung disease and mental health issues. Topics include developing an action plan to improve your health, exercising safely, healthy eating, talking to your doctor and dealing with difficult emotions. Babcock building vigil

BULL STREET CANDLELIGHT REMEMBRANCE: 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Department of Mental Health Bull Street campus, 2100 Bull St. Columbia mental health advocacy groups will gather in front of the Babcock building for a candlelight vigil honoring those who worked, lived, received and provided treatment at the historic site since its opening in 1828.
